The Department of Spine is headed by Dr. Konstantinos A. Starantzis and undertakes all diseases of the Spine, from the neck to the coccyx.
In the spine department, all diseases in any part of the spine, neck, chest, lumbar and sacrum are covered conservatively and surgically, and with all surgical accesses, anterior, posterior or lateral, taking as a criterion how to achieve the optimal result for the patient’s health.
The Spine Department has state-of-the-art medical equipment and an organized medical and nursing team for the diagnosis and treatment of spinal diseases in adults, children and athletes.
The surgeries are performed at the Athens Medical Center (Maroussi) under the direction of Dr. Konstantinos Starantzis, a specialized spine surgeon with long-term experience in the most advanced techniques of spine surgery.
