Paediatric Orthopedics is the subspecialty of Orthopedics that deals with the problems of the musculoskeletal system in the developing organism. It covers the ages ranging from birth to adolescence.  Children grow up, and that makes them different from adults.  At each stage of development, they present various problems that are completely different than those of adults. Therefore, the diversified morphology and psychology of children requires a different approach and treatment of their problems.
