The Department of Ankle and Foot Surgery is headed by Dr. Panagiotis Symeonidis and Dr. Miltos Argyropoulos, and covers the full spectrum of conservative and surgical treatment of conditions and injuries below the knee.
In our department, we utilize all the options available for conservative and surgical treatment, depending on the diagnosis and the specific needs of each patient.
In the field of conservative treatment, we use modern orthotics, custom-made insoles, therapeutic injections, taping, and targeted physical therapy.
Our approach to surgical treatment is based on applying the most appropriate technique to each patient individually to achieve an optimal and lasting result.
We utilize all modern techniques, such as ankle and hindfoot arthroscopy, tenoscopy, corrective osteotomies, percutaneous surgery, tendon transfers, and arthrodesis.
All surgical procedures are performed at the Athens Medical Center (Marousi) by Dr. Panagiotis Symeonidis and Dr. Milto Argyropoulos, who have specialized in foot surgery at leading centers abroad (Great Britain, Australia, the U.S., Germany).
We prioritize minimal interference, excellent equipment and the quality of implantable materials.
