Dr. Panagiotis Symeonidis is head of the Department of Ankle and Foot Extremity at the Orthopedic Clinic “OSTEON” and  holds a PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He serves with dedication his field of knowledge, in which, one, can only specialize abroad. He has received training with clinical work in recognized centers in Germany,  Australia, United Kingdom and  the United States, which makes him one of the few Orthopedists specializing in Foot Diseases in Greece.

He specialized in  the First Orthopedic Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the “G. Papanikolaou” Hospital and at the hospitals  of Broomfield, Worthing and Southlands in England. He obtained his specialty in Orthopedic Surgery in October 2006, while in 2008 he was sworn  in as a Doctor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a grade of “Excellent”

He was trained in Foot Traumatology with an AO Foundation scholarship at the Carl Gustav Carus University Clinic, in Dresden, Germany. He was selected as  a Sports and Foot & Ankle fellow in Adelaide, Australia, where he specialized in Foot Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Wakefield Orthopedic Clinic. In 2010 he won a scholarship from the American Foot & Ankle Society and trained as a Traveling Fellow in 5 hospitals in the USA.

He is a member of many Scientific Societies in Greece and abroad, as well as, a member of Médecins du Monde. He has participated as a speaker in numerous international and domestic conferences, while at the same time, he has made more than 30 international publications, with more than 300 references by other authors in his work.
