Neurosurgeon Peios Dimitris is a graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). He specialized for one and a half years in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Florina and for four years in Neurosurgery and for 6 months in Neurology at the General Hospital G. Papanikolaou. He then specialized in Functional Neurosurgery at the Clinic of Stereotactics and Functional Neurosurgery of the University of Cologne, Germany.

He is a Neurosurgeon in the team of Osteon Orthopedic & Spine Clinic at the Athens Medical Center (Maroussi). Since January 2021 he has been in charge of the Pain and Functional Neurosurgery Clinic of Osteon Clinic.

The specialization in Functional Neurosurgery concerns the treatment of pain, spasticity, movement disorders and disorders of the autonomic nervous system, as well as, minimally invasive surgical techniques of tumors of the nervous system. He is the only official trainer in Medtronic’s neurostimulators in Greece.
