Panagiotis G. Pantos

Panagiotis G. Pantos is in charge of the departments of Upper limbs and Athletic Injuries at “OSTEON” Orthopedic Clinic and has a PhD from University of Athens Medical School. He is, also, the Director of the Orthopedic Clinic at Athens Medical Center (Marousi).
 
He has specialized in Shoulder Surgery through many years of clinical work and targeted training at leading specialized centers in Germany and worked alongside world -renowned surgeons.
 
He has specialized in Shoulder Surgery through many years of targeted postgraduate medical training in leading specialized centers in Germany and has worked alongside world-renowned surgeons.
 
Loyal to the principles of medical science and ethics, he specialized in Orthopedics-Traumatology, at the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of University of Athens, at the ATTIKON University General Hospital, while he continued his education and clinical work at specialized clinics, Klinik Maingau vom Roten Kreuz  and Asklepios Klinik Seligenstadt in Germany.
 
There he gained valuable knowledge and experience on the latest developments in Shoulder Surgery and in recognition of his clinical work he was assigned to the position of Attending physician – Deputy Director (Leitender Oberarzt) of Orthopedic-Traumatology and Head of Nosocomial Infections in Shoulder Surgery, Klinik Maingau vom Roten Kreuz.
 
He also has a remarkable academic work, with a large number of scientific publications, while he received his PhD degree from the University of Athens, in 2013 and his dissertation was graded with ‘Excellent’.
 
He is a member of German Arthroscopy Association (AGA) and an extraordinary member of Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
 
He serves with dedication his scientific field, having been trained in recognized centers in Greece and abroad, after the completion of his specialization in Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology at the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Athens.
