Mrs. Christina K. Nila is a specialized Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon after a Clinical Fellowship in a recognized center abroad. She is in charge of the pediatric orthopedic department at the “OSTEON” Orthopedic Clinic and Director of the Pediatric Orthopedics Department at the Athens Pediatric Center, Maroussi.

Mrs. Nila has been serving in Pediatric Orthopedics, as a specialized Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Athens, since 2009. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens. She did her residency in Orthopedics in Athens while she completed clinical specialization at the “Centre d’ Orthopédie et de Traumatologie” in Strasbourg, France. At the same time, she trained in Pediatric Orthopedics at the Nuffield Orthopedic Centre in Oxford, United Kingdom.

She is particularly interested in:

• Treatment of children with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular diseases

• Treatment of hip dysplasia and other hip disorders

• Treatment of ankle and ankle disorders, including hippopotamus and other congenital and acquired disorders

• Treatment of childhood trauma

• General pediatric orthopedics
