Andreas Kosroglou graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2014. He fulfilled the rural service at the Pulmonology Clinic of the General Hospital of Arta in 2015.

He completed his specialty in 2021 at the Second University Clinic of Anesthesiology at the University General Hospital of Attica.

In 2021 he received the European Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA) Educational Fellowship, for specialization in the field of regional anesthesia, at St George’s University Hospital in London, under the supervision of internationally renowned Professor Dr. Andrzej Krol.

He was a paid clinical fellow until 2022 at Liverpool Women’s Hospital in Liverpool, which is the largest specialist obstetric and gynecological hospital in Europe.

He has an active academic work, participating in multiple publications in international prestigious journals, with particular emphasis on his field of expertise (regional anesthesia in orthopedics and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks).

He has educational experience, as he has served as an ALS (Specialized Life Support) instructor at the Hellenic Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for 6 years, while he also participates in the training program of the Hellenic Society of Anesthesiology.

He is a member of the European Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA) and the Hellenic Society of Anesthesiology.

He has participated in volunteer actions on border islands through the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Prior to starting his specialty, he was active as an athletes’ doctor providing medical support in sports competitions of various categories, including football, basketball, water polo and sports events for children.

He fulfilled his rural service at the Lefkimmi Health Center in Corfu.

He specialized in General Surgery at the General Military Hospital of Athens 401 G.S.N.A.

He completed his 5-year specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Sixth Orthopedics Department of the General Hospital of KAT, actively participating in trauma surgeries, scheduled surgeries, outpatient clinics and on-call services.

During his specialty, he received specialized knowledge from the Department of Hand-Upper Limb-Microsurgery and was an instructor in the Microsurgery technique learning program at the Musculoskeletal System Research Laboratory “Th. Garofalidis”.

In addition, he was trained at the Scoliosis and Spine Department of the General Hospital of the National Hospital for Spinal Diseases, taking part in specialized surgeries for Spine diseases, while he also worked for one year at the Second Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic of the Children’s Hospital “Agia Sophia”.

He has received specialized knowledge through the postgraduate program on “Metabolic Bone Diseases” of the University of Athens with a thesis on the correlation between hip fractures and vitamin D deficiency.  He has received the title of Excellence in Thrombosis from the Institute for the Study and Education of Thrombosis and Antithrombotic Education (I.M.E.TH.A)(2021), while he has participated in the effort to create protocols for the prevention of Thrombosis in Orthopedic Surgery in Greece.

He has participated in multiple conferences and seminars and has a research project. He is a member of the Hellenic Orthopedic Society of E.E.H.O.T. and the English Medical Association (G.M.C.).

He is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in the team of Osteon Orthopedic & Spine Clinic at the Athens Medical Center (Maroussi). His dedication to patient care and his constant pursuit of excellence in Orthopedics continue to define his professional journey.
