Anesthesiologist Simeon Efthymiadis is a collaborator of the surgical team of the “OSTEON” clinic as well as, the pain clinic of the clinic.

He is a graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a Military Doctor.

He obtained his specialty title in anaesthesiology in 2004 after training at the 401GSA, the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the Western General Hospital of Edinburgh, St George’s Hospital – London and the King’s College Hospital – London.

He was a doctor at the Olympic and Paralympic Games “Athens 2004”.

He participated in peacekeeping missions in Albania, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Germany, either in air ambulances, or in ambulance transfers “Unit”, or in the operating room.

He held positions of high responsibility from Campaign Unit Doctor to Director of Surgery and Director of the Health Directorate of the Supreme Military Command of the Interior and Islands (ASDEN) but also responsible for the training of young doctors.

He showed particular interest in the use of modern means in anesthesiology such as video- laryngoscope, bronchoscope, neurostimulator, ultrasound, etc. Especially after the Advanced Airway Management Course at Guy’s Hospital – London.

His involvement in the treatment of pain began in 2001 at the Edinburgh Pain Clinic when Professor Ian Power told him that it was unacceptable for patients to be in pain in the 21st century.

In the operating room as well as, in the Pain Clinic, he will use all available means for the treatment and elimination of pain – multimodal approach to pain management – .

That is, medications, epidural injections, peripheral blocks, acupuncture, neurostimulation, chiropractor and patient education with understanding and love.
