Georgios Papadimitriou
Georgios Papadimitriou is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Crete. He is an Orthopedic Surgeon in the team of Osteon Orthopedic & Spine Clinic at the Athens Medical Center (Maroussi).
He completed his specialization in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Corfu (2013-2014). He began his specialization in Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology at the General Hospital of Chalkida (2014-2016).
He continued and completed his specialization at the General Hospital “KAT” (2017-2021), where he gained special experience in the surgical treatment of complex fractures and chronic diseases and deformities of the upper and lower limbs.
Within the framework of his specialty, he was trained in the Department of Hand-Upper Limb – Microsurgery and in the Department of Scoliosis and Spine of the General Hospital “KAT”, while he was trained in pediatric orthopedics at the “Agia Sophia” Children’s Hospital.
In 2021 he received his Master of Science degree (MSc) on “Sport and Health”, after two years of attending the program of the Medical School of Athens and presenting a thesis with a grade of “Excellent”.
Following written and oral examinations in 2021, he was recognized by the European Society of Orthopedics & Traumatology (EBOT/UEMS) as a “Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology- (FEBOT)” in Lisbon, Portugal.
He has an active participation in domestic and international conferences and training seminars. as well as, research work. He is a member of the Hellenic Orthopedic Society H.O.S. and the English Medical Association (E.M.A.).
