Upper Limb Disorders Department



Upper Limb Disorders Department, which is headed by Dr. Panagiotis G. Pantos, undertakes the treatment of upper limb disorders, i.e., shoulder, elbow and Hand.



These include:

  • Degenerative diseases including osteoarthritis and secondary arthritis of all the joints of upper limb.
  • Compressive neuropathies, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve compression syndrome.
  • Autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Upper limb trauma and sport injuries, such as rotator cuff tear, tendon tear, fractures and dislocations.


The entire range of upper limb disorders is surgically covered in the department, using all available surgical techniques, from traditional ones up to the most sophisticated, which minimize surgical trauma and postoperative recovery time.


Having been trained and worked a Senior Consultant  for a number of years in the best upper limb surgery centers in GermanyDr. Pantos, has the know-how and experience rarely found in Greece, to perform arthroscopic surgeries when necessary, always aiming for the optimal clinical result for the patient.


The Department uses state-of-the-art medical equipment and the most advanced implants in the global market.
